Brig. General Robin Olds was an American fighter pilot and general officer in the U.S. Air Force. He was a "Triple Ace", with a combined total of 16 victories in World War II and the Vietnam War. The son of Army Air Forces Major General Robert Olds, educated at West Point, and the product of an upbringing in the early years of the U.S. Army Air Corps, Olds epitomized the youthful World War II fighter pilot. Robin Olds’ daughter, Christina, who co-authored his biography “Fighter Pilot: The Memoirs of Legendary Ace Robin Olds”, also co-wrote and narrated this biopic, “Robin Olds: All American”. In it, she shares her personal insights and memories of life with one of the most legendary and respected figures in the history of the United States Air Force. The video was produced by The Fagen Fighters World War II Museum of Granite Falls, Minnesota, in conjunction with Sleeping Dog Productions. Featured prominently in the video is “Scat III”, one of the few remaining Lockheed P-38 Lightenings left in the world, which has been meticulously restored to flying condition by The Museum.
